1. Do some research!
Find out accredited or certified surgeon with an organization such as The American Society of Plastic Surgeons or the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The data on surgical and non-surgical treatments performed in 2015 can be found below.
2. Use surgeon consultation
Consult with the surgeon if you have made up your mind and set realistic expectations to achieve the look you want. It may be helpful to bring a friend or relative with you, as there will be a lot of information to digest and consider. You may want to have more than one consultation before making a decision.
3. Select the right Clinic
Your surgery should take place in hospital or clinic, which has properly trained staff and facilities to deal with an emergency, including intensive care facilities in the unlikely event of a serious unexpected problem. Also, there should be facilities for after-care and proper follow-up.
4. Ask yourself!
