In March, Elon Musk announced via twitter that he is about to merge human and machine with a Brain Computer Interface (BCI). Hypothetically, this technology creates an upgradable, updatable interface that could be used in countless ways.

Controlling computers with your mind
Since our brains operate using the electricity and data same as technology, Musk’s Neural Lace would provide a way for them to communicate directly with each other.
Updating your mind
To achieve wirelessly transmit information to the cloud, to computers, or even directly to the brains of other people with a similar interface in their head, the high-bandwidth interface seems like a solution in the years ahead. The technology is currently being used in Stanford University to allow paralyzed people to communicate.
Since innovation in technology has been shown to be as creative as a human composerthis reality could be surprisingly close.
